Can you afford NOT to hire a photographer?

A picture is worth a thousand words...if it's the right picture.

When businesses share images on social media or on their websites quality, consistency and relevance matter far more than just quantity.

It's tempting to post that underexposed cell phone photo just to keep pace with the feed, but you could be doing more damage than good. Posting carelessly and without a strategy is a terrible business plan.

How long would you follow someone that was constantly posting boring images with a mediocre narrative?  At some point you jump off that sinking ship, because why waste your time?

Just because social media is "free" doesn't mean it doesn't come with a cost.

Think back to the days when ALL marketing was paid for - people put a lot of thought into what they wrote on a direct mailer or a newspaper ad back then. They didn't just chuck a photo of their dinner salad on a billboard and call it "marketing".

A professional photographer will not only give you great looking images, they will help you to refine your focus and direct your brand. Solid, brand-driven images will give your business an air of quality and refinement.  They help showcase what is most important to your client.  Your images say who you are before your client ever meets you.  Your images will give you a jumping off point for all your marketing and add richness to your social media posts.

You need to approach EVERY post you create as if it was a paid advertisement for your business.

Even as we are all looking for areas to cut our costs in our businesses, we have to keep in mind that careless imagery, unfocused brands and sloppy media posts do have an impact on your potential clients. Whether it costs you money upfront or costs you customers on the back end - nothing is FREE.
